Nurses, teachers, law enforcement officers featured in campaign
Nurses, teachers, law enforcement officers and other alumni of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities are spotlighted in a new series of advertisements that demonstrate the impact of the system's graduates on the state's economic and community vitality.
The series of four ads illustrates what has been dubbed the "amazing facts" that the system produces:
- Four out of five of the state's new nursing graduates;
- More than half of the state's new teaching graduates;
- Nine out of 10 of the state's new law enforcement officers; and that
- More than 80 percent of graduates stay in Minnesota to work or
continue their education.

Over the next several months, residents across the state will be able to see alumni from many of the state colleges and universities representing these statistics, along with graduates of other public and private institutions representing non-system statistics. In addition to the metro dailies, the ads are scheduled to appear in local and regional newspapers and magazines. The campaign also includes short messages on Minnesota Public Radio and Twin Cities Public Television.
When invited to participate, alumni responded enthusiastically, some driving from as far as Brainerd and Winona to take part in the photo sessions in the Twin Cities metro area.
