Board of Trustees to hold public hearings in Fergus Falls, Winona

The Finance and Facilities Policy Committee of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees will hold two public hearings on the 2006 fiscal year operating budget. The budget includes proposed tuition and fees.

To register in advance to speak at either hearing, contact Cynthia Nelsen at (651) 296-3755 or cynthia.nelsen@so.mnscu.edu. Participants may also register to speak at the hearing. Time may be limited depending on number of people who want to testify. Speakers should bring 20 copies of their testimony.

The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system comprises 32 state universities and community and technical colleges serving the higher education needs of Minnesota. The system serves about 240,000 students per year in credit-based courses and an additional 130,000 students in non-credit courses.
