February 6, 1998 - Senate Committee to Take "Virtual Tour" of Campus Bonding Request

Members of Minnesota Senate Higher Education Finance Division will take a *virtual tour* of four campuses of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities on Tuesday, Feb. 10, using interactive television hookups.
Senators will review building construction requests for Northland Community and Technical College at Thief River Falls, the Hutchinson campus of Ridgewater College, the Winona campus of Red Wing/Winona Technical College and Moorhead State University. Campus leaders at each site will describe and show the projects.
The State Capitol location for the virtual tour is Room 5, State Office Building. The meeting time is 8 a.m. (Tuesday, Feb. 10).
The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system is the largest provider of higher education in the state of Minnesota, serving approximately 145,000 students in the fall quarter and a total of 230,000 unduplicated headcount for an academic year. The system includes state universities, community colleges, technical colleges and comprehensive community and technical colleges in 46 communities around Minnesota.
