November 26, 1997 - Key MnSCU applications now on Net
The standard application form for applying to any of the 36 institutions
of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities can now be found on the
MnSCU web site (www.mnscu.edu). A certification form for the Alliss Educational
Opportunity Grants is also available on line.
The forms must be printed, completed and application made by mail or
in person.
The "universal" application for admissions will be accepted
at any of the state colleges and universities.* Individual colleges and
universities may have additional requirements.
The Alliss grant provides payment of tuition for one community college
course and the cost of course books for adults who have been out of high
school for seven years or away from college for seven years. A form certifying
eligibility for the grant, which must accompany application to a community
college, is posted on the Web.
*Applications to the Akita campus in Japan are made through one of the
seven state universities.
