Minnesota State Colleges and Universities will welcome visitors to the 1997 Minnesota State Fair, beginning Thursday through Labor Day, at a booth in the Education Building, Cosgrove Street, at the Falcon Heights
Features include digitally produced diplomas from each visitor's favorite MnSCU college or university. The individual's photo and name, along with "Picture yourself as a future graduate of [MnSCU institution]," appear on the parchment. Other highlights:
- Brochures and displays from the system's 36 colleges and
- A Campus Book Store displaying a collection of the latest merchandise from MnSCU campuses around the state.
- Computer terminals to tap into the MnSCU Web page, or any of the college and university Web sites, where visitors can request registration
- A Town Hall seating and conversation area for chatting with college and university presidents, legislators and MnSCU trustees who visit the fair.
Minnesota's 31 state community and technical colleges, and universities serve more than 430,000 students across the state.
