How do students enroll?
A single application form may be used to apply to any
of the 32 Minnesota State Colleges and Universities institutions. Minnesota two-year colleges have a policy
of open admission, which means that anyone with a high school diploma
or a GED may enroll. Minnesota state universities generally accept students
who either have graduated in the top half of their high school class
or have scored a 21 or higher on the ACT college placement exam. If
they took the SAT exam, they can be admitted by earning a combined score
of 1,000.
