What is customized training?
Customized training is education for workers, offered by Minnesota State Colleges and Universities institutions working closely with individual employers. Often, courses are offered right in the workplace, and are designated for the specific training and education needs of the employer. Instead of seeking a degree, students work to gain specific skills tailor-made for a particular job. These skills allow students to serve their present employer more effectively or move quickly into the workforce. The system trains more than 151,000 employees and works with 6,000 Minnesota employers each year.
