Responsibilities:
The position will ensure effective and efficient daily operations of the college’s multi-campus and remote technology services through development and direction of long and short-term planning, budgets, personnel administration and reporting.   • Develop and direct long-term and short-term plans in a multi-campus and remote technology environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in technology services.

  • Technology budget development, administration and procurement experience sufficient to successfully manage annual budgets and analyze trends.
  • Successful experience with:
  • Techniques for analyzing business requirements, development of delivery strategies and related activity plans that meet business needs.
  • Computer and supporting technology to provide cost-effective solutions for business requirements.
  • Short and long-term project planning and management.
  • Technology Help Desk Services.
  • Technology support with a network based infrastructure comprising multiple operating systems and technology devices and software applications.
  • Ability to:
  • Meet personnel and operational needs in a multiple location environment.
  • Identify security risks and develop and execute mitigation activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in information technology, computer science or related field.
  • Experience managing and supervising in a technology setting within higher education.

Community faculty members are expected to demonstrate the ability to teach Natural Sciences courses effectively at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Assigned courses may include the following subject matter and laboratory sessions:

  • Cell biology, evolution, and the diversity of life;
