The Dental Assisting program teaches students laboratory and clinical skills to laboratory and/or clinical competency as designated by the State Dental Practice Act of the Minnesota Board of Dentistry. A unique aspect of South Central Technical College-North Mankato/Mankato campus Dental Assisting program is that it is housed on the Minnesota State University-Mankato campus in a newly refurbished 12-unit dental clinic shared by MCU's Dental Hygiene program. Students are allowed to live on the MSU campus.
