About this Program

This program blends a background in experimental and statistical methodology with a philosophical approach to the scientific study of behavior. Coursework is offered in three major areas of contemporary scientific psychology: clinical, experimental, and social psychology. In addition, faculty and staff from other psychology programs and closely related areas frequently offer courses in their special competencies. Obtaining a bachelor's degree in Psychology can lead to employment in a group home or educational setting. In addition, the degree can prepare students for graduate school and subsequent professional employment as a psychologist.
