About this Program

The Advanced Manufacturing Technology - Computer Controlled Precision Manufacturing program prepares individuals to shape metal parts on conventional and CNC Lathes, Vertical Milling Machines and grinders. Students learn to make computations related to work dimensions, test using precision measuring instruments, machine and heat-treat various metals, and lay out machine parts. Students also will gain an introduction to CAD/CAM systems and CNC programming.
