South Central College Highlights

  • South Central College is Minnesota's newest community and technical college. The college has a history of academic excellence since 1946 as a technical college. The college now provides an associate degree in liberal arts and sciences that allows students to take the first two years of a bachelor's degree in a small, caring environment. The college has campuses in two great college communities - Faribault and North Mankato.
  • South Central offers a full-tuition Presidential Scholarship to high school seniors with a 3.75 or higher grade point average. Presidential scholars must demonstrate leadership skills and school and community involvement.
  • South Central College's foundations provide more than $250,000 in student scholarships annually. Scholarship deadline is mid-March.
  • South Central College recognizes the importance of student organizations and activities and the impact they have on campus life. The college employs a full-time student life director who coordinates extracurricular activities and events.
