Maria Peluso, Taconite, plans to become a math teacher. She is currently pursuing an associate degree at Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids. A 2011 graduate of Greenway High School, Peluso is active at school and in her community. She is also an accomplished student athlete.
Gov. Mark Dayton appointed Peluso to the Board of Trustees for a two-year term ending June 30, 2014.
