Caleb J. Anderson, Maplewood, is pursuing an associate degree from Century College in White Bear Lake. He works as a peer tutor at Century College, as a lifeguard and swimming instructor at the Maplewood Community Center and as an assistant pre-school teacher at the Maple Tree Child Care Center, Maplewood. He is co-founder and co-owner of a cleaning business, Mason-Anderson Professional Cleaners LLC. At Century College, Anderson is president of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society and active in the Student Senate, debate team and theater.

A 2005 graduate of Faith Baptist Christian School in St. Paul, Anderson attended Century College as a Post-Secondary Options student for part of his senior year.

Gov. Tim Pawlenty appointed Anderson to the board seat for a community college student for a two-year term ending June 30, 2008.
