Approval of Collective Bargaining Agreement
The Board of Trustees approved the terms of the 2001-2003 labor agreement
with Minnesota State University Association of Administrative and Service
Faculty (MSUAASF), and authorizes the Chancellor to sign the agreement
on behalf of the Board contingent upon ratification by MSUAASF membership.
Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Building Addition Schematic
Design
The Board of Trustees approved the schematic design for the Building
Addition project at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College.
Ratification of the Executive Committee's Approval of Revision to
the Personnel Plan for MnSCU Administrators in Section 1.09 (Insurance)
The Board of Trustees ratifies the action of the Executive Committee
on November 27, 2001, approving the revision to the Personnel Plan for
MnSCU Administrators in Section 1.09 (Insurance).
Program Approval: AS, Engineering Foundations; Normandale Community
College
The Board of Trustees approved the request by Normandale Community College
to offer an Associate in Science in Engineering Foundations. Program
implementation is January 1, 2002.
Program Approval: AS, Wildlife Management; Vermilion Community College
The Board of Trustees approved the request by Vermilion Community College
to offer an Associate in Science in Wildlife Management. Program implementation
is January 1, 2002.
Program Approval: Certificate, Drywall Installation, and Certificate,
Floor Covering Installation; South Central College, Faribault-Minnesota
Correctional Facility
The Board of Trustees approved the request by South Central College to offer a certificate in Drywall Installation and a certificate
in Floor Covering Installation at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Faribault.
Program implementation is January 1, 2002.
Program Approval: BS, Early Childhood Education; Minnesota State
University, Mankato
The Board of Trustees approved the request by Minnesota State University,
Mankato to offer the Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.
Program implementation is January 1, 2002.
Program Approval: AA, Liberal Arts and Sciences; St. Paul Technical
College
The Board of Trustees approved the request by St. Paul Technical College
to offer a new Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences. Program
implementation is January 1, 2002.
Review Plan for Individual College and University Audits
The Board of Trustees adopted the revised audit plan as presented in
paragraphs 1 through 6 of the Review Plan for Individual College and
University Audits.
Support of MnSCU's Bonding Priorities
The Board of Trustees adopted the Advancement Committee's resolution
that each college and university adopt MnSCU's 2002 bonding priorities
that were approved by the Board of Trustees in June 2001.
