Appointment of President of Century College
The Board of Trustees appointed Dr. Larry Litecky as president of Century
College effective October 18, 2000, under the terms and conditions of
the Personnel Plan for MnSCU Administrators.
Appointment of Executive Director/Board Secretary
The Board of Trustees appointed Penny Harris Reynen as Executive Director/Board
Secretary effective October 18, 2000, under the terms and conditions
of the Personnel Plan for MnSCU Administrators.
Amendments to Board Policy 1A.2 Pertaining to Election of Officers
The Board of Trustees approved the amendments to Board
Policies 1A.2, System Organization and Administration, as follows:
Part 4. Officers of the Board, Subpart B. Terms of Office, and Subpart
D. Election of Officers, and Part 6. Subpart A. Types of Meetings, 1,
annual meeting.
Northland Community and Technical College Schematic Design
The Board of Trustees approved the schematic design of Northland Community
and Technical College Consolidation Phase II addition and remodeling
project.
FY 2001 Finance/Facilities Policy Committee Work Plan
The Board of Trustees approved the proposed FY 2001 work plan for the
Finance/Facilities Policy Committee of the Board of Trustees.
Program Approval: AS, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Mapping,
Anoka-Ramsey Community College, Cambridge and Coon Rapids
The Board of Trustees approved the request by Anoka-Ramsey Community
College to offer an Associate in Science in Geographic Information Systems
(GIS) and Mapping and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems
(GIS) and Mapping at the Cambridge and Coon Rapids Campuses.
Program Approval: BS, Civil Engineering, Minnesota State University,
Mankato
The Board of Trustees approved the request by Minnesota State University,
Mankato to offer the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
Office of the Legislative Auditor Financial Audits of Normandale
Community College, Dakota County Technical College, Minnesota State
University Moorhead, South Central College, Lake Superior
College, Alexandria Technical College, and Minneapolis Community and
Technical College
The Board of Trustees accepted the financial audit reports issued by
the Office of the Legislative Auditor on Normandale Community College,
Dakota County Technical College, Minnesota State University Moorhead,
South Central College, Lake Superior College, Alexandria Technical
College, and Minneapolis Community and Technical College.
Internal Auditing Annual Report - Fiscal Year 2000
The Board of Trustees accepted the Internal Auditing Annual Report -
Fiscal Year 2000 as satisfying the requirement of Board Policy 1.D.
Part 8.
Relocation of Board Policy 4.13, Expense Allowances
The Board of Trustees approved the relocation of Board Policy 4.3, Expense
Allowances, as amended, to Policy 5.20,
Special Expenses and Chancellor/Presidential Expense Allowances.
