College and University President Appointments
The Board of Trustees approved the following college and university president appointments:
- Dr. Joan Beverly Barrett, president St. Cloud Technical College, effective July 1, 1997, under the terms and conditions of the Personnel Plan for Excluded Administrators.
- Dr. Douglas Sweetland, president Southwest State University, effective July 1, 1997, under the terms and conditions of the Personnel Plan for Excluded Administrators.
- James J. Johnson, president Red Wing/Winona Technical College, effective July 1, 1997, under the terms and conditions of the Personnel Plan for Excluded Administrators.
- Dr. Kathleen L. Nelson, president Lake Superior College, a Community and Technical College in Duluth, effective July 1, 1997, under the terms and conditions of the Personnel Plan for Excluded Administrators.
- Dr. Cliff Korkowski, continue as interim-president, Anoka-Hennepin Technical College, effective July 1, 1997, under the terms and conditions of the Personnel Plan for Excluded Administrators.
