3.10 Academic Program Review
Part 1. Program and Department Review by Colleges and Universities.
On a regular basis using established institutional procedures,
each college and university shall review all academic programs and departments
with respect to (a) contribution to the mission and plans of the institution,
(b) performance measures including aggregated student achievement, (c)
accreditation, licensure or certification requirements, (d) advisory
committee or other appropriate input as agreed to by the faculty and
administration of the institution, and (e) other factors as appropriate.
The college or university shall use results of the review for improvement
of academic programming.
Each college and university president shall report annually a summary
of its program review activity to the chancellor.
Part 2. Program Review by the Chancellor. The chancellor
shall report annually to the Board of Trustees on state or regional
studies of academic programs or program clusters conducted by the office
of the chancellor.

Changes integrated two existing policies (policy 3.11 and
Community Carry-forward policy III.02.06) and repealed these
two policies. The changes to policy 3.10 specified institution
and Office of the Chancellor program review responsibilities.
