November 2003 Emergency Meeting Minutes

Trustees Present: Jim Luoma, Chair, Will Antell, Tyler Despins, Cheryl Dickson, Ivan Dusek, Clarence Hightower, Vincent Ijioma, Lew Moran, Ann Curme Shaw and Shaun Williams

Absent: Andrew Boss, Mary Choate, Daniel Coborn, Robert Hoffman and David Paskach

  1. Call to Order
    Chair Jim Luoma called the meeting to order at 2:38 p.m. and reported that a quorum was present.

    A motion was made by Trustee Antell, seconded by Trustee Dickson and carried for the Board of Trustees to meet in closed session to consider labor negotiations strategy.

  2. Labor Negotiations Strategy
    William Tschida, Vice Chancellor for Human Resources, reviewed labor negotiations strategy. Following the review, a motion was made by Trustee Dickson, seconded by Trustee Ijioma and carried to end the closed session.

  3. Adjournment
    Chair Luoma reconvened the Board of Trustees in open session and immediately adjourned the meeting by consensus at 3:30 p.m.
