Responsibilities:

Teach both Dental Hygiene theory and clinical skills in an American Dental Association accredited Associate Degree program. Candidates must be committed to providing quality instruction and services to students and clients of all ages and backgrounds.
Department members are expected to take an active role, participate in and lead department meetings, coordination of activities across disciplines, curriculum development, and college wide committees. Maintain ongoing professional memberships and continuing education activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; and
  • One year of relevant work experience at the professional level; and
  • Dental Hygiene certification or licensure in Minnesota and meets minimum qualifications for accreditation if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Recent Clinical practice
  • Prior teaching experience
