Alfredo Oliveira, originally from Brazil, is a student at St. Cloud State University where he is pursuing a bachelor?s degree in International Business and a minor in Management and Political Science.

In 2010, he earned his associate in applied science degree in sales and management from St. Cloud Technical and Community College. He was the president of the St. Cloud Technical and Community College Student Senate from 2009 to 2010, and served as student senate vice president from 2008 to 2009. While a student at SCTCC, he was a member of the Quality Crew Committee, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and Delta Epsilon Chi, where he received recognition for serving as Chapter Vice President.

Governor Tim Pawlenty appointed Oliveira to the Board of Trustees in 2010 for a two-year term ending June 30, 2012. Oliveira represents technical college students on the Board of Trustees.
